About Us

In 2016, when the Trump administration took power, the political climate became increasingly divisive. I found that engaging in meaningful conversations with those who held differing viewpoints became nearly impossible, as the gap in perspectives grew too wide. As a result, I decided to step back from social media and disengage from these polarized discussions.

Around the same time, I had just opened a bar, restaurant, and theater in a small town, hoping to revitalize the local community. However, the town was deeply rooted in conservative beliefs that clashed with my own. Instead of engaging in conflicts that would do nothing but distress me, I decided to relocate until things cooled off.

I moved to Switzerland, where I spent valuable time with my young son and collaborated with a liberal friend. I assisted her organization, SAO, in transporting donations from Zurich through Italy and across the ferry to Greece. SAO supports migrant women facing abuse in the Moria refugee camp, with centers in Athens and Lesvos, and I was honored to help establish them. This experience deeply inspired me and sparked my profound admiration for the founder, Raquel Herzog, and kindled a strong commitment to women's advocacy within me. My soul is now attached to women’s advocacy, and I firmly believe that real change requires women to take the lead.

I am committed to doing my part to help make an Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez presidency a reality because I see it as a critical step in opening the door for transformative leadership. As always, any profit I make will go directly into my next project for substantial social change. My unwavering commitment to an Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez presidency aligns with my belief in the need for transformative leadership, a belief that was only strengthened by my renewed passion for political change.

My experiences abroad sharply contrasted with the political environment in the United States. With Trump’s return as a nominee and a rabid MAGA base on the rise, I have resolved to support the Democratic candidate no matter who our nominee was. Despite being deeply invested in political affairs, I struggled with supporting the Democratic nominee, worried that Trump could win. When Kamala Harris became the presumptive nominee, my excitement for real change reinvigorated me—I cried. This renewed my passion and led me to re-engage on Instagram and Threads. Now, most of my posts and replies reflect my personality, blending snark, camp, and humor.

I am not a wealthy man. My happiness comes from enriching my own experiences and those of others. With this in mind, I devised the DrinkMAGATears initiative. I kicked it off with a post regarding Miss Greene’s viral tweet on X:

I had no intention of being the face of this initiative, so I offered the opportunity to many deserving women. Determined to see it succeed, I used all my savings, took out large loans, maxed out my credit cards, and sacrificed my credit to give it the best possible chance. I hired a PR firm, a copywriter, a lawyer, social media marketers, web designers, a focus group, and a video production company.

Then it hit me: I should send Miss Greene mirrors.

My initial goal was to send 1,000,000 mirrors, with a significant portion of each purchase going to ActBlue. I hope only to recover my funds, make a statement, and profoundly and humorously support the Democratic party.

I’ve urged many to help us reach our goal of getting 150,000 compact mirrors in front of Marjorie Taylor Greene and raising $1,000,000 for ActBlue in honor of her ironies!

They can make their voices count & help us flood her mailbox in just 3 simple steps…

    1. Receive Your Mirror → You’ll get a compact mirror with a prepaid envelope addressed to MTG's post office box.

    2. Send It Back → Place the mirror in the envelope, seal it, and drop it in the mail.

    3. Celebrate Our Collective Impact → Your receipt will reflect your donation amount—keep tabs on donations & mirrors shipped on Drinkmagatears.org.

After years of traveling the world, founding magazines, writing, and pursuing various entrepreneurial projects, I’ve come to believe that true change starts with each of us. My goal is to use my next project to influence a better world on a global scale, fostering communication and learning for a better way of life. My mission is to leave a legacy of unity where screens are tools, art is real, useful skills are nurtured, and culture and travel are embraced. I envision a world where outdated traditions give way to a society that values unity above all else, improving lives through logic, intelligence, creativity, and compassion.
